Here, Arne Gustavsson is in charge! And everything is going pretty well: “The screen is nice! I’m so happy with the staff. Everything about me is listed there. Exactly what type of medicine and help I need. It’s all right there.”

Frosunda Omsorg is a value-driven company. That means the staff in their care homes work from the same set of values. In essence, it is all about creating the most value possible for the residents. At Frösunda Omsorg, residents are called customers, because, in the end, they are the ones who pay. This central notion is what they have coined the "Frösunda Idea".

Nye arbejdsgange hjælper på compliance

"It was a challenge to finish all the tasks we needed to. And afterwards, sign off and document this work in order to track and make sure the tasks were being done and documented"

Antonio Cabot, Registered Manager, Gutasund

The challenge was to do everything while documenting it

Approximately 8.000 employees follow this idea. And the vision is clear:

“It means our customers can affect and control their own everyday lives. Here, Sekoia plays an important part. Everything we previously did on paper is now done digitally,” Registered Manager Antonio Cabot explains.

One of the large challenges digitisation helps solve is compliance. With a relatively large pool of staff, a lot of staff are playing an essential part every day. Here, it is a challenge to make sure that there is a common ground in the way care is provided.

"It was a challenge to finish all the tasks we needed to. And afterwards, sign off and document this work in order to track and make sure the tasks were being done and documented."

The required overview enabling a resident-centric approach

The staff are also happy with their new digital everyday work life and the help it provides:

“The biggest advantage for me is that with Sekoia, my work is made easier. It is now more simple. There is not much paperwork left – all you have to do is check and sign it off. The screen is where you have all information and you can make sure that nothing is forgotten,”  Assistant Nurse, Ramadan Abdinasir, explains.

Before implementing Sekoia, it was difficult to generate the required overview, Deputy Manager Emmie Jarlekrans says:

"I see that it gives our clients, who live here, an assurance. Because their care plan is created according to their needs, and is easily available to the staff. That way, everyone shares information enabling staff to work according to our customers' wishes every day."
